Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Oak Crossing, our long-term care facility in Detroit Lakes. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing direct care to skilled nursing facility residents and serving their needs in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort. Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to skilled nursing facility residents, including personal hygiene care, assistance with nutritional needs, and recognition of changes in resident condition.


• Maintain a safe, clean, attractive, and neat environment for residents, identifying and reporting safety hazards and emergency situations.


• Recognize and deal with the problems of the aging process, providing compassionate care and support to residents.


• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality care and services are delivered to residents.


• Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge in providing exceptional patient care.

Essential Qualifications

• Verifiable completion of a recognized nurse aide training program or current registration on applicable state nursing assistant registry at time of hire.


• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.


• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.


• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and nights, with weekend and holiday rotations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a long-term care facility or skilled nursing setting.


• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
