Job Summary
As a Full-Time Remote Customer Service Call Center Representative, you'll be responsible for providing superior customer service to individuals affected by weather-related emergencies. You'll handle questions and concerns via phone and other channels, demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and a passion for customer service excellence. This role requires a strong and diverse skillset, including excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to individuals affected by weather-related emergencies via phone and other channels.
- Handle questions and concerns with the highest degree of courtesy, professionalism, and empathy.
- Communicate accurate answers to resolve end-users' questions and concerns.
- Display a passion for customer service excellence and enjoy helping people, especially those impacted by weather-related incidents.
- Use a respectful and tactful manner to effectively deal with difficult situations.
- Maintain knowledge of systems, applications, and products serviced by the contact center.
- Follow strict work instructions and procedures, adapting to continual changes as needed.
- Be available for a flexible schedule from 7 AM to 12 AM ET, Monday through Sunday.
- Attend training as needed and listen to performance feedback to integrate suggestions into daily tasks.
- Demonstrate a strong attendance record and excellent work ethic.
Qualifications and Skills:
Essential Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Effective listening and comprehension skills.
- Ability to closely follow instructions.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical and resourceful problem-solving skills.
- Proper telephone etiquette.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Computer literacy, technical aptitude, and familiarity with basic office software systems.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Must be able to pass a Public Trust Background Check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in a call center environment.
- 1 year of experience in customer service.
