About Us and the Role

As a part-time Infrastructure Project Manager, you'll play a critical role in driving the success of our DT Cloud & Infrastructure projects. You'll work closely with our Infrastructure Program Manager to develop, manage, and coordinate project implementation, ensuring that workstreams are well-conceived, adequately resourced, and effectively executed.

Key Responsibilities


  • Project Planning and Coordination (80% of the role):

    • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.

    • Contribute to problem identification and solutions, anticipating bottlenecks and providing escalation management.

    • Communicate tradeoffs across diverse groups to optimize project outcomes.

    • Manage tasks assigned to project teams and stakeholders.



  • Communication and Stakeholder Management:

    • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal teams and stakeholders.

    • Communicate project progress, issues, and resolutions effectively.

    • Maintain visibility to leadership and ensure stakeholders are informed and prepared to make fact-based decisions.



  • Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, milestones, schedules, open issues, decisions, and risks.

    • Generate regular status reports for management and teams.



  • Team Leadership and Collaboration:

    • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

    • Provide guidance and follow-up for tasks, motivate team members, and facilitate discussions/meetings.

    • Drive effective collaboration across large project teams with diverse experience levels.



  • Continuous Improvement:

    • Identify process gaps and recommend changes to project management, planning, and reporting processes.



  • Requirements Development and Project Scope (15% of the role):

    • Work with internal and external stakeholders to identify project needs, define project scope, and set priorities.

    • Solidify deadlines and finalize deliverable schedules.



  • Other Duties (5% of the role):

    • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.



Essential Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you'll need:


  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years of IT project management experience in IT Infrastructure, Networking, and/or Cybersecurity.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar certification (strongly preferred).

  • Experience working with multiple Agile methodologies.

  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet) and Microsoft 365.

  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and IT service management.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Strong consulting and analytical skills with a problem-solving focus.

  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities, with a willingness to shift direction quickly when priorities change.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills


  • Experience in the Renewables Industry.

  • Experience working in and/or managing multiple high-visibility and high-impact enterprise projects with cross-functional teams.
