Job Description:
As a Remote Third Party Debt Collector, you will be responsible for managing accounts, initiating outbound calls, and negotiating payment arrangements with consumers in a compliant and professional manner. You will play a crucial role in improving recovery rates and maintaining positive customer interactions.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED (Associate’s degree preferred).
Minimum 1 year of third-party or first-party collections experience.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Basic computer literacy and CRM knowledge.
Familiarity with FDCPA and other regulatory guidelines.
Quiet, dedicated home workspace with internet access.
Responsibilities:
Contact consumers via phone, email, or text regarding delinquent accounts.
Negotiate repayment plans while complying with legal and ethical standards.
Document all collection activities accurately and in a timely manner.
Identify and escalate challenging cases when appropriate.
