[Remote] Pre-Litigation Attorney: Employment & Civil Rights

- Responsibilities
- Conducting a deep, independent review of newly accepted matters
- Identifying all viable federal and state claims and confirming statute-of-limitations compliance
- Drafting high-quality, tailored complaints (not templates)
- Preparing initial disclosures and discovery that anticipate defense strategy
- Organizing and assembling initial document productions (personnel files, contracts, policies, communications, etc.)
- Delivering complete, coherent, litigation-ready case files to the litigation team
- Skills
- J.D. and active bar license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Minimum 4 years of litigation experience, with meaningful exposure to employment or civil rights law
- Excellent legal research and writing skills
- Demonstrated ability to identify claims, defenses, and statute-of-limitations issues
- Experience organizing evidence and preparing discovery productions
- Strong judgment and attention to detail
- Preference for MD, IL, NJ, NY, or CA
