Senior Tax Preparer – Remote – Commission Based Upcoming 2027 Tax Season
Job Summary
TUTS Tax Service Solution LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Preparer to join our remote team for the upcoming 2027 tax season. This is a commission-based 1099 Independent Contractor position offering 50% per completed and collected tax return.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced in individual tax preparation, and confident handling Form 1040, Schedule C income, credits, and deductions. This role includes reviewing returns prepared by junior team members to ensure full compliance and accuracy.
Contractors operate in a flexible remote environment and must maintain high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and IRS compliance.
- Duties
- Prepare and review individual tax returns (Form 1040)
- Prepare Schedule C, 1099 income, credits, and deductions
- Ensure compliance with IRS regulations
- Review returns prepared by junior team members
- Communicate professionally with clients
- Maintain data confidentiality and accuracy
- Requirements
- Active PTIN required
- Minimum 2–3 years tax preparation experience
- Strong knowledge of 1040, Schedule C, and common tax credits
- Experience using professional tax software
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong ethical standards and commitment to compliance
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $30,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
