This engagement focuses on low-code enterprise application development using Oracle APEX, enabling participants to design, build, secure, and deploy scalable, data-driven applications with minimal hand-coding.
Training Details
Location: Onsite – Portland, OR
Duration: 2 full days (14 total training hours)
Format: Live instructor-led, hands-on training
Compensation: $1,200 per day of training ($2,400 total, all-inclusive)
Audience: Developers, data architects, engineers, and technical analysts
Experience Level: Mixed (new to APEX through intermediate)
Class Size: 6 participants (with flexibility up to 8; max 10)

Course Scope
The training will provide a practical, hands-on introduction to Oracle APEX with an enterprise focus. The goal is to establish a shared foundation for teams collaborating on APEX-based applications going forward.
The client environment includes an on-premises Oracle Database.
Topics Include
Introduction to low-code development and Oracle APEX architecture
Creating and managing APEX workspaces
Building data-driven applications
Forms, reports, dashboards, and UI templates
Page navigation and application structure
Dynamic actions and application logic
Using PL/SQL within APEX
Authentication, authorization, and application security
Testing, debugging, and deployment practices
Publishing and managing applications (on-prem and Oracle Cloud context)
Trainer Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver engaging, instructor-led onsite training
Customize the course outline to align with client needs and skill levels
Provide hands-on demonstrations and guided exercises
Answer participant questions and troubleshoot real-world scenarios
Training materials remain the trainer’s intellectual property
Required Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle APEX
Background in application development or low-code platforms
Prior experience delivering corporate technical training
Solid understanding of database-driven applications
Excellent communication and facilitation skills
Nice to Have
Experience with Oracle Database and PL/SQL
Prior onsite training delivery experience
