Who You Are:

Highly detail-oriented and checklist-driven (some may think you’re a perfectionist)

Experienced and comfortable working across booking platforms (e.g. Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, etc)

Great taste for what makes a short-term rental listing attractive and appealing to guests

Strong and clear written communication skills

Collaborative team-player willing to roll up their sleeves with a bias towards action

What You’ll Do:

You’ll be responsible for ensuring Home Base properties are optimally positioned to attract guests and convert bookings. You’ll follow a detailed checklist to build accurate and optimized listings across multiple channels — and then continuously maintain and improve them over time. This role will report into the Head of Homeowner Success and work closely with Revenue Management and Operations to ensure we are best positioning our properties and serving our homeowners well.

Listing Creation & Onboarding

Meticulously build listings using our proprietary step-by-step onboarding checklist

Thoughtfully review home photos, layout, and surrounding area to craft descriptions and messaging that highlight standout features of the home

Ensure accuracy of amenities, settings, and channel requirements

Publish listings and confirm they are bookable and correctly synced

Run test bookings at newly launched listings and provide reviews

Ongoing Listing Optimization

Continuously refine copy, titling and photography to enhance performance

Seasonally update positioning to attract different guest profiles throughout the year

Re-list properties

Own the photography and videography process of our listings

Establish repeatable audit processes

Listing Distribution

Ensure all properties are bookable across all channels at all times

Manage mid-term stay distribution channels such as Furnished Finder and form local partnerships to drive revenue during the off- and shoulder-seasons

Offboard properties thoroughly and completely from all distribution channels when necessary

Qualifications & Fit:

2-4+ years of relevant experience: Proven track record in short-term rental listings management and optimization

Comprehensive knowledge: Strong understanding of the short-term rental industry, guest preferences, booking channels and settings

Exceptional attention to detail: Thorough completion of tasks with excellent structure and processes

Robust task management skills: Ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines without sacrificing quality

Outstanding communication: Strong written and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across departments
