The Role
We are seeking a seasoned Controller (or Senior Staff Accountant, depending on experience) to lead accounting operations across our multi-entity platform.
This is a hands-on role responsible for managing our monthly and year end accounting close, compliance, treasury coordination, and building scalable accounting processes to support a growing portfolio.
- What You’ll OwnAccounting Operations
- Manage month-end close (target: 5-day business day close)
- Oversee multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactions
- Manage outsourced bookkeeping & tax vendors, or internalize for increased efficiency
- Ensure accurate and compliant payroll, AP, and AR across Business Units and Infinity Constellation
- Treasury & Cash Management
- Partner with Head of Finance on cash forecasting
- Manage treasury processes (SVB, Meow, Wise, Ramp)
- Monitor capital movements across entities
- Compliance & Controls
- Oversee audit processes and compliance frameworks
- Ensure GAAP compliance
- Partner with tax and audit vendors
- Implement scalable internal controls
- Own Infinity’s relationships with tax and external accounting vendors
- Process & Systems
- Optimize current QuickBooks environment
- Help define long-term accounting system roadmap
- Improve reporting automation and accuracy
- Qualifications
- 7+ years of accounting experience
- CPA strongly preferred
- Experience in SaaS, services, or multi-entity environments
- Experience managing and reconciling intercompany transactions
- Familiarity with venture-backed environments
- Strong process design mindset
