- *What You'll Do**
As a Veterinary Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Directly connecting with veterinary facilities to arrange prescription approvals, resolve client issues, and clarify order requests
- Examining and resolving issues to determine proper solutions for clients and partner facilities, and following up on a case-by-case basis to resolve issues
- Completing data entry of prescriptions into arenaflex's healthcare software
- Maintaining a high level of quality through data entry and order handling of veterinary pharmacy orders
- Working with empathy, attention, patience, compassion, and kindness to clients and partners alike
- Working with an eagerness to learn and grow, sharing feedback, receiving feedback, and working in a culture of openness and development
- Communicating with veterinary facilities via telephone (sometimes via other stations on a case-by-case basis) with various topics, primarily using our internal program and systems to explore solutions and record client note accounts, so being meticulous is essential
- Expecting a significant portion of the typical business day will be outbound veterinary center/client telephone contacts
- *What You'll Need**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 2 years of experience working in a client or healthcare-focused environment
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills (written, verbal, and listening)
- Ability to perform multitasking (e.g., chatting on the phone while exploring on the computer and taking notes)
- Working with ownership, being a self-starter, and standing out to detail
- Capability with Microsoft Outlook
- High school education or equivalent
- Ability to maintain a Pharmacy Professional License from the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy (where applicable)
- Decisive reasoning abilities
- Shown ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adapt to change as per the business needs of the organization
- Flexibility to move schedule and stay at work longer than required depending on the situation by the specialty unit
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive data
- Ability to pass background checks
