Job Title: Remote Roofing Estimator & Remote Drywall Estimator
Location: Remote (Mexico-based preferred)

- SmartSourcing USA is hiring for two separate full-time remote positions supporting U.S.-based contractors:
- Remote Roofing Estimator
- Remote Drywall Estimator
1) Remote Roofing Estimator
About the Role:
You will support U.S. roofing contractors with accurate, timely estimates for residential and commercial projects.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Review plans and project documents for roofing scopes.
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs using estimating software (Planswift, Bluebeam, or similar).
- Prepare material and labor cost estimates for shingles, metal roofing, membranes, etc.
- Coordinate with project managers to clarify scope and assumptions.
- Requirements:
- Based in Mexico, working remotely.
- Strong construction knowledge and experience; roofing knowledge a huge plus.
- Experience with Planswift and/or Bluebeam (or similar takeoff tools).
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Strong math, analytical, and Excel skills.
- Good English communication skills (written and verbal).
2) Remote Drywall Estimator
About the Role:
You will prepare detailed bids for drywall, framing, and interior finishes for U.S. projects.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Review architectural and structural drawings for drywall, framing, and ceiling scopes.
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs using estimating software (Planswift, Bluebeam, or similar).
- Prepare material and labor cost estimates for drywall, studs, insulation, and related work.
- Identify scope gaps, clarifications, and value-engineering opportunities.
- Requirements:
- Based in Mexico, working remotely.
- Strong construction knowledge and experience (drywall, framing, or interiors).
- Experience with Planswift and/or Bluebeam.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong math, analytical, and Excel skills.
- Good English communication skills (written and verbal).
