    Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Microsoft Fabric tools and services
  • Integrate data from multiple sources (structured, semi-structured, and unstructured) into centralized data models
  • Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
  • Optimize ETL workflows for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve ETL process issues in a timely manner
  • Maintain documentation for ETL processes, data mappings, and workflows
  • Stay current with Microsoft Fabric updates, features, and best practices
  • Support data analytics and reporting teams by providing clean, well-structured datasets
    Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Proven experience as an ETL Developer, Data Engineer, or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and related services (e.g., Data Factory, Synapse, Power BI integration)
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and data transformation techniques
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (Azure preferred)
  • Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and dimensional modeling
  • Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation
  • Understanding of big data technologies and distributed computing
  • Knowledge of API integration and real-time data streaming
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and version control (e.g., Git)
