[Remote] Rockin' Billing & Payroll Specialist - Remote & Part-Time!!
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. myVA Rocks is a growing virtual-assisting company seeking a detail-oriented Billing & Payroll Specialist to join their team on a part-time basis. This role focuses on billing and accounts receivable, with occasional payroll support responsibilities.
- Responsibilities
- Generate and send client invoices accurately and on time
- Verify incoming payments and reconcile transactions
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable
- Follow up on past-due invoices and manage collections as needed
- Update and maintain recurring subscriptions
- Answer billing questions from clients and Virtual Assistants (VAs)
- Ensure billing aligns with project budgets and contracted hours
- Update and track project budgets
- Maintain updated Googlesheets for accuracy, and prompt reporting
- Light reporting
- Maintain accurate billing records and status updates in Monday.com
- Assist with payroll processing as needed
- Verify hours and payment details
- Support payroll reporting and documentation
- Skills
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks
- Experience with client billing and accounts receivable
- Experience using Monday.com for tracking and updates
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Organized, deadline-driven, and proactive
- Experience with Harvest (time tracking & invoicing)
- Experience with Stripe (payment processing)
- Experience with Gusto (payroll processing)
- Experience in a service-based or virtual business environment
