Lead and oversee the development and implementation of animal health and welfare research and development programs.
Conduct in-depth scientific research and provide expert guidance on animal health and welfare topics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute animal studies and clinical trials.
Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory authorities and external partners.
Serve as a subject matter expert on animal health and welfare regulations and guidelines.
Provide training and mentorship to junior veterinary staff.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and protocols for animal research and care.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to animal research and care.
Monitor and report on the progress of animal research and development projects.
Contribute to the publication and dissemination of research findings.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in animal health and welfare research and incorporate them into Pfizer's practices and processes.
Collaborate with external organizations and participate in industry conferences to enhance Pfizer's reputation and influence in the animal health community.
Represent Pfizer in discussions and negotiations with regulatory authorities and other external stakeholders.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the animal health team.
