Litigation Consultant - MN Licensed
A company is looking for a Litigation Consultant specializing in General Liability and Bodily Injury, with a preference for candidates in Minnesota or those seeking remote opportunities.
- Key Responsibilities
- Review and act on reports/forms, respond to inquiries, and seek legal opinions for early resolution
- Handle high-end cases with serious injuries and complex coverage scenarios, developing strategies for resolution
- Coordinate with local counsel, manage settlements, and participate in mediations, trials, or hearings as needed
- Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred; Juris Doctorate (JD) preferred
- Ten years of experience handling litigation, including five years in claims management or equivalent education and experience
- Experience in identifying and formulating defense strategies
- Ability to manage subrogation opportunities and related processes
- Experience in coordinating with clients and legal counsel
