SAP S/4 MRP Application Architect (Principal)
Duration: 4/1/2026 – 3/31/2027
Location: Hybrid (Remote/South Carolina)
Travel: 25–50% to South Carolina
Security Clearance: This position requires eligibility to work on government contracts
Role Overview: Lead the functional design and implementation of an SAP MRP Pilot for a major enterprise modernization initiative. Drive supply chain transformation through strategic workshops, configuration, and stakeholder collaboration in a highly regulated environment.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on-site/virtual workshops to define future-state MRP processes
- Configure SAP MRP (material master, BOM, planning strategies, lot sizing)
- Design planning runs, exception management, and inventory optimization
- Integrate MRP with procurement, warehouse, and finance systems
- Develop data migration strategy for planning parameters
- Support SIT, UAT, and pilot cutover activities
- Develop functional specifications for enhancements
- Establish planning governance and master data standards
- Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years SAP MM/PP experience with strong MRP focus
- Deep understanding of MTS, MTO, reorder point, and forecast-based planning
- Proven experience leading design workshops in complex supply chain environments
- Ability to travel 25–50% for stakeholder engagement and deployment activities
- Must be eligible to work on federal government projects (US persons only)
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in regulated industries (energy, defense, government)
- SAP S/4HANA MRP Live experience
