Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Workers Compensation Defense Attorney to join our legal team remotely. On-site is available. The ideal candidate will have experience in workers compensation law and a strong background in defending claims. This position aims to provide expert legal counsel and representation to clients while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal representation to clients in workers compensation defense cases.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis related to workers compensation claims.
- Prepare and file legal documents, including motions, briefs, and pleadings.
- Attend depositions, hearings, and trials as necessary to represent clients.
- Advise clients on legal rights and obligations related to workers compensation matters.
- Negotiate settlements with opposing parties and insurance companies.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and case law affecting workers compensation defense.
- Qualifications
- Jurisdictional license to practice law as an attorney.
- Proven experience in workers compensation law and defense.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a remote workload.
