Job Description – SQL Developer with DevOps Experience
Location: Remote
- Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute SQL scripts for database updates and enhancements
- Participate in database deployment activities using DevOps tools and practices
- Take ownership of assigned user stories and deliver within sprint timelines
- Collaborate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and reviews
- Perform unit testing and ensure code quality for all database changes
- Identify and implement improvements in deployment and DevOps processes
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers and QA
- Required Skills
- years of experience in SQL development and database engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL (queries, joins, stored procedures, scripting)
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Good understanding of database deployment processes
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
