We have a position for a Sales Operations Analyst II with one of our clients in Remote for an initial contract duration of 1 year 3 months. No third party candidates considered for this position.

Job Description:

The Sales Operations Analyst II on the Tier 1 Support Team manages and escalates SFX Tier 1 tickets, support calls, and OEM enrollments; troubleshoots CPQ issues affecting quotes and contracts; processes marketing leads and sales referrals; supports sales with large and non-revenue contract processing; creates reports and shares insights with leadership; identifies process inefficiencies and recommends improvements; serves as an escalation point for complex cases and high-volume requests; and collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and ensure timely support for sales operations.

    Tier 1 Support Management
  • Review, process, and escalate incoming SFX Tier 1 tickets, internal support calls, OEM enrollments, and leads/referrals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SFX CPQ-related issues impacting quotes, orders, and contracts.
  • Perform system workarounds as needed (e.g., bypass signature) to maintain order flow.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and escalation point for complex cases, including exceptions and one-off requests.
    Contract and Order Processing
  • Analyze and process large and non-revenue contracts to meet compliance and accuracy standards.
  • Analyze and research previous, customer-specific contract details and any existing higher level-governing agreements (i.e.OEM agreements) to inform recommendation on pricing, volume and discounting that balances Sales/End Customer expectations with client standards and guidelines.
    Process Improvement
  • Identify bottlenecks in order processes and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
    Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with internal teams (billing, contracts, data governance) to resolve issues and gather data.
  • Support sales leadership and boundary partners with timely resolution of requests per SLA.
    Job Requirements:
  • Required Experience & Specialized Knowledge and skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, ideally in a sales/business operations role, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of existing client sales processes and systems; experience with Salesforce.com required, with ability to create sales opportunities and quotes.
  • 2 years Configure/Price/Quote (CPQ) software experience or relevant systems (Billing/CLM) or similar
  • Experience with and knowledge of the SalesForce.com platform
  • Ability to read, interpret and explain contractual information
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment and demonstrate initiative to work independently with minimal supervision
