Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse | Olathe, Kansas

- Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to telemetry patients, including cardiac monitoring and post-procedure management.
- Manage TR Bands following cardiac procedures with precision and adherence to protocols.
- Administer cardiac drips such as Heparin, Butamax, Lasix, and Cardizem, ensuring accurate dosing and patient safety.
- Participate in the initiation and monitoring of Tikosyn/Sotalol therapy.
- Float across acute care units to support patient care needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to unit-specific schedules, including every other weekend rotation and holiday staffing as required.
- Qualifications:
- Current Kansas RN licensure.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Minimum of 1 year recent telemetry nursing experience, with preferred 2-5 years in telemetry.
- Experience with TR Bands, cardiac drips, and Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation.
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (1900-0730) three days per week.
- Schedule:
- 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, three days per week.
- Every other weekend rotation.
- Holiday coverage including Memorial Day and July 4th, per unit needs.
