Our client, a progressive Melbourne-based firm, is leading the charge in providing modern solutions for Small to Medium Businesses, exclusively using Xero and a cutting-edge app stack. What Youâll Do:
¡ Prepare and review workpapers and financial statements for companies, trusts, and individuals.
¡ Prepare accurate and compliant tax returns.
¡ Preparation of BAS and IAS.
¡ Handle tax compliance and reporting requirements.
¡ Utilize Xero for managing and analyzing financial data.
¡ Directly liaise with clients to provide tax advice and support.
¡ Ensure all financial documentation and reports are meticulously detailed.
Requirements
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in Australian Tax and Accounting
- Proficiency in Xero and strong financial statement and tax return preparation
- Exceptional communication skillsâboth written and verbal
- A detail-oriented, analytical mindset and an ability to juggle multiple clients and deadlines
