Help Us Expand Access to Care — En Español y En Inglés

At Backpack Healthcare, we’re re-imagining mental health care for children, teens, and young adults. As a clinician-led, minority-owned organization, we believe that when clinicians thrive, kids thrive.

We are experiencing strong growth across Illinois — particularly among Spanish-speaking families — and we are actively seeking bilingual (English/Spanish) therapists who are passionate about reducing barriers to culturally responsive mental health care.

If you’re fluent in Spanish and committed to serving diverse communities, this is an opportunity to make a powerful and lasting impact.

Why Bilingual Clinicians Are Essential

Many of the families we serve prefer therapy in Spanish. Your language skills can:

Increase access to care for underserved communities

Strengthen trust and therapeutic rapport

Support parents and caregivers more effectively

Reduce stigma and cultural barriers to treatment

Bilingual clinicians are strongly preferred!
