Ongoing UI/UX designer needed for financial media project

We're a high-traffic financial media website looking for a skilled UI/UX designer for ongoing contract work. We publish across multiple verticals and are in an active period of product development - new tools, features, and UX improvements are constantly in the pipeline.

We're looking for someone who can become a reliable part of our extended team - someone we can brief, trust to interpret it well, and deliver consistently over time.

What you'll work on:

• Page layouts and content templates

• New product features and tools (dashboards, screeners, data widgets)

• Mobile and desktop UX improvements

• A/B test variants and conversion-focused design

• Occasional brand and visual work

What we're looking for:

• Strong portfolio with web/media or fintech examples

• Figma proficiency essential

• Comfortable working async with a small, remote team

• Able to take a brief and run with it — we don't want to micromanage

• Reliable, responsive, and takes deadlines seriously

Engagement: Flexible and ongoing. We'll start with a small paid test project to see how we work together, with the expectation of regular work from there. Hours will vary week to week depending on what's in the pipeline.
