Our founding partners own and operate multiple Crumbl locations generating over $12M in annual revenue, so we know what franchise operators need because we are franchise operators. We currently serve 100+ client units and are growing fast, with new franchisor partnerships fueling our pipeline every quarter.

The Role

We are hiring a Staff or Senior Accountant (level depends on your experience) to join our services team. You will handle day-to-day bookkeeping, month-end close, and client reporting for a portfolio of franchise clients. This is a hands-on role where you will work directly with business owners and have real ownership over your client accounts.

You will report to one of our Founding Partners (CPA) and work alongside a small, growing team. If you want a place where your work matters, your ideas are heard, and you can grow with the company, this is it.

What You Will Do
• Manage bookkeeping and monthly close for a portfolio of franchise client accounts using QuickBooks Online
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts, categorize transactions, and ensure accurate financial records
• Prepare monthly financial statements and client-ready reports
• Communicate directly with franchise owners to gather information, answer questions, and provide updates on their financials
• Assist with onboarding new clients, including chart of accounts setup and historical data cleanup
• Support the team during tax season with workpaper preparation and data gathering
• Help build and improve internal processes as the firm scales

What We Are Looking ForRequired
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 1 to 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (more experience = higher level and comp)
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable communicating directly with clients via email, phone, and video
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet deadlines independently

Nice to Have
• Experience working with franchise businesses, restaurants, or multi-unit operators
• Familiarity with payroll processing and sales tax filings
• Experience at a public accounting firm or client-services accounting role
• Interest in growing into a management role as the team expands
• EA or CPA (or working toward either)

Compensation and Benefits
• Base Salary: $55,000 to $85,000 depending on experience (Staff vs. Senior level)
