City Operations Supervisor Delivery
Job Description:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Delivery Operations Supervisor to oversee daily delivery operations and ensure efficient, high-quality service. This is a remote (work-from-home) position, with occasional store visits as needed.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and assign delivery routes and driver schedules based on daily order volume and distribution
- Handle order exceptions, customer inquiries, and issues encountered by drivers during deliveries
- Maintain effective communication with store teams to ensure smooth order preparation, handoff, and delivery processes
- Manage daily operations within the assigned area and analyze data to continuously improve delivery efficiency and service quality
- Recruit, train, and manage delivery drivers to enhance team performance and execution
- Conduct occasional store visits to ensure operational standards are met and provide feedback for improvement
- Qualifications:
- Must be currently residing in the San Francisco area
- Must have a personal vehicle with a valid driver’s license and insurance
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese (Mandarin is required)
- Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle unexpected situations independently
