- *Role Description**
This is a full-time remote role for a Director of Supply Chain Management. The individual in this role will oversee and optimize all aspects of supply chain operations, including inventory management, materials procurement, logistics coordination, and supply chain strategy development.
- Responsibilities include managing supplier relationships, analyzing supply chain performance, ensuring efficient use of resources, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. The Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and products, aligning with business goals and customer expectations.
- *Qualifications**
- Strong expertise in Supply Chain Management, including planning and optimizing end-to-end supply chains
- Proficiency in Supply Management and Inventory Management to effectively oversee and balance stock levels
- Experience with Materials Management and ensuring the timeliness and quality of material procurement
- Knowledge of Logistics Management, including coordination of shipping, warehousing, and distribution processes
- Analytical skills to evaluate supply chain metrics and implement data-driven improvements
- Excellent leadership and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams and managing supplier relationships
- Experience in luxury goods or jewelry production is highly desirable
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications are a plus
- Familiarity with sustainability and ethical sourcing practices is preferred
