Airosmith Development is seeking an experienced CAD Designer proficient in Bentley MicroStation V8i and utilities and fiber network design.

    Responsibilities, include (but are not limited to):
  • Develop detailed CAD drawings for fiber optic network designs, including conduit layouts, splice diagrams, and utility coordination.
  • Interpret engineering service orders and convert them into construction-ready design packages.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure design specifications meet project requirements and industry standards.
  • Maintain and update design files, redlines, and as-built documentation using Bentley MicroStation V8i.
  • Assist in utility mapping and integration of fiber designs with existing infrastructure.
  • Support permitting and construction documentation processes.
    Requirements:
  • 3+ years CAD design for utilities or telecommunications projects experience required.
  • Proficiency in Bentley MicroStation V8i, MS Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, and Google Earth required.
  • Experience designing fiber optic networks and processing service orders for engineering and construction preferred.
  • Familiarity with utility standards, fiber routing, and outside plant design principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    Education:
  • Associate degree or technical certification in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.
