Role Description

The Exclusive Agency is seeking a seasoned communications professional with deep relationships across music, culture, and entertainment media who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about shaping the narratives of today's most exciting artists.

The Senior Publicist will play a critical role in leading campaign strategy, managing key client relationships, and mentoring junior team members while driving impactful media coverage across U.S. mainstream, Latin, and international outlets. This position requires a highly strategic thinker with a strong network of media contacts and a proven ability to execute high-level publicity campaigns.

This is a full-time remote position.

    Responsibilities:
  • Lead strategic communications campaigns for a roster of music clients including artists, producers, and music-related brands.
  • Develop and execute high-level publicity strategies around music releases, tours, brand partnerships, and cultural moments.
  • Maintain and leverage strong relationships with key media across music, culture, entertainment, and lifestyle outlets.
  • Secure meaningful media coverage including features, profiles, premieres, interviews, and cultural placements.
  • Serve as a senior strategic advisor to clients, helping shape narratives and long-term positioning.
  • Manage day-to-day client communication and oversee campaign timelines.
  • Mentor and manage junior publicists and coordinators while helping guide team development.
  • Coordinate closely with artist management, label teams, marketing teams, and partners to ensure cohesive campaign rollouts.
  • Identify new media opportunities, emerging platforms, and creative campaign ideas that elevate clients' visibility and cultural relevance.
    Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in music publicity.
  • Strong, established relationships with key music, culture, and entertainment media.
  • Proven track record securing top-tier coverage and managing successful music campaigns.
  • Experience working with artists, producers, labels, and music industry partners.
  • Exceptional communication, writing, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership experience managing or mentoring team members preferred.
  • Deep understanding of the evolving music and media landscape, including digital and social platforms.
