Description
SUMMARY
ABA Case Supervisors: BC-ABAs are responsible for organizing and maintaining data collection and statistical analysis systems for programs; conducting behavioral assessments and program implementation; directing clinical activities and staff/parent training. This position is a supervisory position for a master's or doctorate level, PA Licensed Behavior Specialist without board certification as a behavior analyst.
This position is expected to start June 2026 and requires the employee to be in-person in Centre County, PA at least 3 days per week.
- ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain confidentiality as outlined by HIPAA protocols.
- Collect and record data based on client observable behavior.
- Develop and write FBA’s and individual treatment plans (ITP). Update treatment plans every 6 months or when the child has met their goals, changed location of services, or undergoes a significant life event.
- Write progress notes, supervision notes, assist direct therapists in documentation needs.
- Actively guide and train in the implementation of baseline, treatment, parent training, and generalization sessions.
- Develop behavior protocols and skill training protocols for clients. Disseminate this information to the treatment team.
- Meet billable requirements as assigned by Clinical Director.
- Utilize safe and appropriate handling, management and guidance procedures when working with clients.
- Implement integrity checks and target supervision in the areas in which the staff needs support
- Conduct VB-MAPP assessments, ABLLS, ABAS-3, and any other assessments that may be appropriate to the initial development and maintenance of a behavior program.
- Review graphs and make intervention changes when appropriate, at a minimum every 2 weeks per client.
- Follow direction from Clinical Director and meet at least 2 hours per month for supervision at scheduled times.
- Report to Child Line with any suspected abuse within 24 hours of the report or incident.
- Complete quarterly progress reports and/or Treatment Plan Updates.
- Maintain certification of PA Behavior Specialist License (BSL)
- Maintain CAQH and credentialing with insurance companies or provide necessary information to Hummingbird ABA Therapy’s Billing team to maintain CAQH credentialing.
- WORK ENVIRONMENT
- This role may complete indirect hours from their home or Hummingbird ABA Office, with all HIPAA regulations being followed. Telehealth may be available to replace “face-to-face” interactions when allowed- this position includes up to 2 remote days per week.
- You will see clients in person at least 3 days per week in a variety of settings, including homes, schools, community locations, or Hummingbird ABA Therapy's Clinic.
- Travel up to 10% of the time with clients being no more than 40 minutes from office.

Requirements
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Applicants must meet both of the following requirements:
- Master’s Degree in ABA or related field
- Licensure in the state of Pennsylvania as a Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS).
- At least 6 months experience working under a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in an ABA role.
While the Behavior Specialist License is a requirement of the role, applicants who have already applied for their license but have not yet received it are welcome to apply.
