[Remote] Insurance Verification & Billing Specialist, Dental, Oral and Maxillofacial (CA)

They are seeking a Dental Insurance Verification & Billing Specialist to manage insurance verification and dental billing operations, ensuring accurate documentation of patient benefits and timely claim processing.

Responsibilities
• Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits prior to procedures
• Accurately document insurance benefits within the system
• Handle and review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
• Manage dental billing workflows and claim processing
• Communicate with insurance providers to confirm coverage and resolve issues
• Assist patients with insurance-related questions when needed
• Maintain accurate and organized records within the EHR system
• Support overall billing and insurance operations
• Ensure timely and accurate processing to avoid delays or denials

Skills
• Strong experience in dental billing and insurance verification
• Strong understanding of insurance workflows, benefits, and EOBs
• Excellent written and spoken English with clear, professional communication
• Ability to communicate confidently with patients and represent the practice well
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Tech-savvy and effective in a remote work environment
• High integrity and ability to handle sensitive information
• High ethical standards, professionalism, and respect in all patient interactions
• Willingness to learn, grow, and develop yourself professionally
• Experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery
• Medical billing experience is a plus
