Position Overview
Centurion International University is seeking a qualified and mission-driven Adjunct Professor of Statistics to teach undergraduate-level courses in an accelerated 8-week online format. This part-time, remote position is ideal for candidates who are passionate about teaching, committed to student success, and supportive of a Christian worldview in education.
- Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality instruction in assigned Statistics courses in a fully online format
- Integrate biblical principles, when appropriate, into course instruction and engagement
- Foster a Christ-centered, respectful, and engaging virtual learning environment
- Facilitate student interaction through discussions, assignments, and activities
- Provide timely grading and constructive feedback on student work
- Maintain active communication with students and academic leadership
- Adhere to university policies, academic standards, and course guidelines
- Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Statistics or a related field
- Minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Statistics (required)
- Demonstrated support for the mission and values of a Christian university
- Prior teaching experience at the college or university level preferred
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching in an online/virtual environment
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), Canvas
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to explain complex statistical concepts clearly to diverse learners
- Ability to engage students in a faith-integrated academic setting
