    Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to determine eligibility for medical marijuana certification based on state regulations and clinical guidelines.
  • Review medical histories, and assess qualifying conditions .
  • Educate patients about the benefits, risks, and responsible use of medical cannabis, ensuring informed consent.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient assessments in electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other privacy standards.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate care plans and ensure holistic patient management.
  • Stay current with evolving laws, regulations, and best practices related to medical marijuana certification and integrate updates into clinical practice.
  • Manage patient inquiries professionally, providing guidance on the certification process and follow-up care as needed.
    Requirements
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice medicine in Pennsylvania.
  • Certified medical marijuana doctor in Pennsylvania
  • Must reside in Pennsylvania
  • Proven experience in outpatient clinical settings with a focus on patient assessment and care planning.
  • Familiarity with EHR systems such as TalkEHR or similar platforms for documentation and record keeping.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and common qualifying conditions for medical marijuana use.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about treatment options and legal considerations.

Pay: $54,502.48 - $65,637.40 per year
