Fashion Design Intern (Womenswear / Eveningwear – 90s Italian Aesthetic)
Job Overview
We are looking for a design intern to work directly with the founders of Enzina, a contemporary womenswear brand focused on refined, sensual eveningwear.
The brand draws from 90s femininity, Italian nightlife, and vintage couture — with an emphasis on strong silhouettes, restraint, and pieces that feel both effortless and powerful.
This role is less about trend-driven design and more about understanding mood, proportion, and how something feels. You will be involved in building our first collection from the ground up and contributing to the overall creative direction of the brand.
- What You’ll Do
- Assist in developing the first capsule collection (dresses, sets, eveningwear)
- Create sketches and visual concepts focused on silhouette and feeling
- Build moodboards and references aligned with the brand’s aesthetic
- Support fabric and trim research (silks, satins, structured drapey materials)
- Assist with fittings and early sample development
- Contribute to the overall visual direction and identity of the brand
- Who This Is For
- Fashion design student or recent graduate
- Strong interest in womenswear / eveningwear
- Drawn to 90s references, vintage couture, and European fashion
- Has a strong eye for clean, sensual, and elevated design
- Thinks in terms of mood, energy, and silhouette — not just trends
- Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Experience with Illustrator or sketching
- Basic knowledge of garment construction
- Strong personal aesthetic or portfolio
