JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

An expert in all areas of customer service and support in the area of electronic business solutions. The E-Business Specialist will assist the E-Business Development Manager with customer related tasks with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) and web services. Their focus is to provide solutions to customers that help them improve their business and support Viega LLC’s strategic growth goals. ** It woudl be preferred that candidates live in either Colorado or Kansas**

JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS

VMI and EDI Services

Act as a purchasing agent on behalf of the customer to order Viega product to ensure the appropriate amount of inventory is on hand in accordance with customer agreement (VMI)

Assist with coordination activities for new EDI customers and resolving issues related to EDI

Operations

Take appropriate action to ensure we meet customers’ expectations

Support for updating and/or creating reporting related to E-Business

Process ecommerce requests according to procedure which may include working with other departments to obtain the necessary information

Other

Attends meetings as required and/or assigned

Performs other duties as required and/or assigned

Assist other departments as needed

Special Job Dimensions

May be required to travel up to 10% of the time.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge in EDI/VMI systems and philosophies

Excellent Excel skills for data analysis and reporting

Knowledge of business processes of an industrial enterprise

Continuous improvement orientated

PC experience – MS Office

SAP knowledge – Sales and Distribution, Materials Management

Excellent customer service skills

Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills

Excellent organizational and prioritization skills

Ability to handle difficult situations and determine appropriate resolution

Ability to obtain and maintain product knowledge

Ability to pay close attention to details

Works well in a highly collaborative team environment

Education, Certification/License & Work Experience

Associates degree in business, supply chain management or finance

Experience with EDI, VMI and e-business systems desired

Minimum of 3 years directly related experience in supply chain

Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Total Rewards Package:

Compensation

Base: $64,000-$88,000 USD annually, based on specific compensable factors including, but not limited to education, work experience, and geographic market.

Bonus: This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
