Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver
<p>We are looking for <strong>Van Drivers of Non-Emergency Medical Transportation</strong> to provide reliable and safe consumer/patient transportation to and from appointments! They will be responsible for driving a company vehicle to various counties to pick up consumers/patients and transport them to medical, treatment, and ancillary appointments. They must be physically able to push a wheelchair, help/assist consumers/patients and strap down securements on the floor of a vehicle. They will be responsible for keeping the company vehicle clean and report an issues. Required to submit proper and timely documentation and provide great customer service. By doing what you do best, you’ll be helping consumers/patients get the care they need.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><span>Deliver friendly, compassionate, and reliable service that patients can depend on</span></li><li><span>Safely assist patients in and out of the vehicle and transport them to and from appointments</span></li><li><span>Provide care with empathy at the center of every interaction, reflecting our core values</span></li><li><span>Communicate clearly and promptly with patients, especially regarding delays or changes</span></li><li><span>Maintain a clean, organized, and well-functioning vehicle in accordance with company standards</span></li><li><span>Ensure all vehicle licenses and insurance documentation remain current</span></li><li><span>Adhere to all applicable federal, Kansas, and Missouri regulations, as well as professional and ethical standards</span></li><li><span>Follow company policies to ensure patient safety, privacy, and security</span></li><li><span>Maintain strict patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations</span></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><span>Must be 21 years of age or older</span></li><li><span>High school diploma or equivalent </span></li><li><span>CPR Certification or willingness to obtain</span></li><li><span>CLean driving record </span></li><li><span>Ability to accurately follow GPS directions and navigate using maps</span></li><li><span>Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectivelt engage a diverse patient population</span></li><li><span>Demonstrates integrity, reliability, and work independently</span></li><li><span>1-3 years of transportation experience preferred</span></li></ul>
