- *Key Responsibilities**
As a Remote Customer Service Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Answering and handling calls from customers regarding their delinquent auto finance accounts, utilizing appropriate compliance and security measures to identify customers and protect against fraud
- Actively listening to customers and asking questions to determine their needs, ensuring proper routing of calls and/or presentation of solutions to their inquiries
- Collecting on assigned delinquent accounts in a timely and effective manner, within established guidelines
- Documenting all communications and transactions of material manner with customers
- Protecting the confidentiality of all aspects of careerzynith's operations, portfolio, customer information, and computer technology
- Working knowledge of state and federal laws applicable to collections, including FDCPA, TCPA, and Rees-Levering among others
- Actively participating in team meetings to improve workflows, collection processes, and department efficiencies

- Working effectively in a high-pressure, high-volume environment
- Displaying professionalism and empathy when interacting with customers
- Handling customer questions with a goal of resolving all issues within the first contact/call
- Demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills
- Referencing available services to meet customers' needs
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Suite products
- Contributing to department projects as assigned
- Other related duties as business needs arise
- *Essential Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or collections environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite products
- Working knowledge of state and federal laws applicable to collections
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information
- *Preferred Qualifications**
- 2+ years of experience in a customer service or collections environment
- Experience working with delinquent auto finance accounts
- Certification in collections or customer service
- Experience with CRM software and other customer service tools
- Strong knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements
