My client, a financial/mortgage company seeks a System
Administrator
to support the organization’s IT
service management platform,
ensuring data security and system availability, and providing expert guidance to improve processes, integrations, and team efficiency.

Type:
Temp 6-month (possible perm position after)

Start Date:
ASAP

Location:
Remote (any time zone)

Pay Rate:
$90/hr. + benefits.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday, morning flexible schedule

    FUNCTIONS
  • Serve as platform expert
  • — Lead advanced features for the service desk, asset management, and change control platform.
  • Administer daily operations
  • — Manage cloud-based infrastructure and connected systems.
  • Maintain platform updates
  • — Oversee enhancements, releases, and system upgrades with proper changelogs.
  • Resolve performance issues
  • — Troubleshoot and fix software problems.
  • Collaborate across teams
  • — Partner with Governance, EPMO, Sales, Ops, and Technology to support organizational needs.
  • Develop reporting
  • — Create metrics and dashboards for senior leadership.
  • Automate workflows
  • — Build cross‑system automations using Python, Azure, and Power Platform.
  • Manage CI/CD automation
  • — Use GitLab pipelines for automation code.
  • Act as technical liaison
  • — Serve as primary contact for third‑party providers and consultants.
  • Improve processes
  • — Identify operational gaps and drive process improvements.
    Qualifications
  • 3 yrs Experience in cloud-based IT
  • Working knowledge of SolarWinds Service Desk, Freshservice, Zendesk, or similar cloud‑based IT service management
  • Integrations using systems such as Azure, Okta; HTTP requests.
  • Knowledge of Asana, Trello, JIRA or other similar
  • project managementsoftware for tracking development.
  • Executes projects with little direction.
  • Proficient ability in communicating issues, impacts, and corrective actions in written and verbal form following change management procedures.
