- *The Commercial & Customer Experience Strategy MBA Program**
Our two-year rotational program is designed to equip you with the skills, knowledge, and experience you need to succeed in the airline industry. You'll have the opportunity to rotate through different departments, including Network Planning, Revenue Management, Marketing, Sales, Reservations, and Customer Experience. This will give you a comprehensive understanding of the airline business and help you develop a broad range of skills, from data analysis and strategic planning to leadership and communication.
- *Key Responsibilities**
As a member of our Commercial & Customer Experience Strategy MBA program, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to some of the most exciting and challenging projects in the airline industry. Your key responsibilities will include:
- **Maximizing Profitability**: Aligning capacity with demand through the strategic deployment of aircraft and developing new city and route opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- **Competitor Analysis**: Investigating competitors' pricing actions, initiating sales and other promotions to maintain market share, and analyzing airline consumer behavior to devise creative strategies for capturing additional revenue.
- **Data-Driven Decision Making**: Leveraging data to develop promotion and channel strategies to drive incremental passenger revenue or improve our values-led communication strategies with our customers.
- **Customer Experience Improvement**: Analyzing the financial contribution of incentive programs and developing new sales strategies to generate incremental revenue, as well as improving the travel experience for Delta's corporate clients.
- **Process Improvement**: Developing recommendations for process improvements for reservations centers, call-handling, and segmentation to improve customer service, employee engagement, and maximize cost efficiencies.
- **Driving Business Growth**: Identifying opportunities for business growth and developing strategies to drive revenue and profitability.
- *What You Need to Succeed**
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:
- **Current MBA Student**: You must be currently enrolled in an MBA program and have a planned graduation date by the Summer of 2025.
- **Dynamic Work Experience**: At least three years of post-undergraduate work experience in a dynamic, professional environment or relevant military experience.
- **Curiosity about the Airline Industry**: A genuine interest in the airline industry and a willingness to learn and grow.
- **Analytical and Creative Problem-Solving Skills**: The ability to analyze complex data and develop creative solutions to drive business growth.
