Detailed Power BI Developer To Maintain Data Models and Measures using DAX and Power Query - Contract to Hire

Responsibilities for this role will be to:

• Design and develop data models that support business reporting and analytics needs.

• Create and maintain relationships between tables to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

• Develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to user requirements.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical specifications.

• Optimize data models and queries for performance and scalability.

• Implement data transformation and integration processes using Power Query and related tools.

• Provide ongoing support, documentation, and training to end-users and team members.

Requirements include:

• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role in data analytics.

• Strong expertise in data modeling concepts including star and snowflake schemas.

• Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power Query, and DAX programming.

• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, and writing optimized SQL queries.

• Ability to design and maintain complex relationships between datasets.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
