Telehealth Physician Medical Cannabis Certifications (Illinois & Michigan)
Position Overview
We are seeking licensed Physicians (MD/DO) in Michigan. Alternatively in Illinois we are seeking licensed MD's, DO's, APN's, and PA's to join our team on a flexible, part-time or full-time basis. You absolutely must be licensed in one of these states. This role is 100% remote and primarily involves reviewing patient medical histories, conducting short telehealth consultations, and providing certifications where medically appropriate. Preferably the ideal candidate would already be registered with the state of Michigan or state of Illinois medical cannabis division. If not already registered you would need to get registered with your respective state to begin approving patients for medical cannabis.
Our support staff handles all administrative work, so you can focus strictly on patient care.
PA's and APN's are not eligible in Michigan. Strictly Illinois.

Responsibilities
Conduct telehealth consultations with patients seeking medical cannabis certification
Review patient history and ensure state medical cannabis program requirements are met
Complete and sign medical cannabis certifications electronically
Collaborate with support staff for efficient workflow and same-day patient approvals
Qualifications
Must hold an active and unrestricted license to practice as an MD or DO in Michigan, Or MD, DO, APN, or PA in Illinois.
In good standing with the medical board
Comfortable with telehealth and electronic medical records
Strong communication and patient care skills
Previous cannabis medicine experience helpful but not required
