Architectural CAD Drafter needed: Point Cloud to 2D Floor Plans & Elevations (Long-term Partnership)
I am a UK Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) looking for a skilled CAD Technician for a long-term partnership. This project is a PAID TEST for a standard UK Terraced House.
The Task: Convert Point Cloud Data (.rcp) into a clean, professional 2D AutoCAD (.dwg) drawing.
Scope of Work (Reduced Scope):
Floor Plans: All floors (Ground, First, Roof outline). Show room names, FFL, ceiling heights, and overhead beams.
Elevation: FRONT Elevation ONLY.
Section: 1 Cross Section (cutting through the staircase).
Inputs Provided:
Point Cloud: Unified .rcp file.
Template: A clean .dwt file containing my Required Layers.
Sample DWG: A PDF/DWG of a previous project to show the Visual Style I want.
My "Sample DWG" uses old layers that DO NOT match my new "Template". You must follow this rule:
VISUAL STYLE (Follow the Sample): The drawing must LOOK like the Sample. Match the text size, dimension style, hatch patterns, and layout exactly.
LAYER STANDARD (Follow the Template): You must draw everything using the NEW LAYERS provided in the .dwt Template.
Do NOT copy layers from the Sample.
Do NOT create new layers.
Technical Requirements:
Terraced House Context: Clearly define the internal face of the Party Walls.
Cleanliness: No text clashing with geometry. Move dimensions/notes away from walls for clarity.
Z-Axis: All 2D lines must be strictly flattened to Z=0.
Deliverable: AutoCAD 2018 .dwg + PDF set.
Budget & Timeline:
Fixed Price: $120.00 USD
Turnaround: 3-4 days.
To Apply:
Confirm you have software to view .rcp files.
Start your proposal with: "I understand the Layer Mapping rule."
Looking forward to working with a pro!
