As a Part-Time Customer Escalations Phone Agent, you'll play a vital role in assisting customers who have received notification pertaining to a past rental or previous transaction. Using customer-provided information, you'll assist the customer with taking a payment for a prior rental or resolving an outdated alert. Your goal will be to craft acceptable solutions to address our customer's needs and get them back on the road!

- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist customers on the phone and by chat with resolving past rental or previous transaction notifications
- Use customer-provided information to take payments for prior rentals or resolve outdated alerts
- Craft acceptable solutions to address customer needs and get them back on the road
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve customer satisfaction and resolve issues efficiently
- Communicate effectively through instant messaging programs and maintain a friendly, approachable tone
- Support a positive environment for customer interactions and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services
- Anticipate customer needs and offer proactive service, displaying empathy and understanding in adverse environments
- *Essential Qualifications:**
- Minimum 6+ months customer service experience
- Dual monitors are required for this role
- Hard-wired internet connection is necessary for reliable connectivity
- Friendly and caring tone, with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to engage with customers in a friendly, approachable manner and support a positive environment for customer interactions
- Knowledgeable about various customer needs and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services
- Ability to anticipate customer needs and offer proactive service, displaying empathy and understanding in adverse environments
- Efficiency in navigation, with the ability to quickly and accurately navigate multiple software applications and systems
- Typing and language skills, with a normal typing speed and strong spelling and grammar skills for professional written communication
- *Preferred Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment
- Ability to work independently, delivering practical solutions and thriving in a collaborative team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly and efficiently resolve customer issues
- Experience with multiple software applications and systems, with a focus on navigation and efficiency

- 2 weeks of comprehensive training, including instructor-led concept courses and self-led courses
- Education courses from our online U-Haul University, with a focus on customer service and product knowledge
- Interactive mentorship and call/chat support from Advanced Agents
- Ongoing training and education opportunities to ensure continued growth and development
