    Key Qualifications:
  • Current teaching certification in Special Education, with additional ESL endorsement or licensure highly preferred
  • Proven classroom experience working with students with diverse learning needs and language backgrounds
  • Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with students, families, and fellow staff
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

    Primary Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging instruction tailored to special education students, integrating ESL strategies as appropriate
  • Develop, review, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Differentiate curriculum and lessons to address varying abilities and language acquisition stages
  • Progress monitor students and document outcomes to ensure compliance with educational standards
  • Consult regularly with general education teachers and related service providers to support inclusion and student achievement
  • Encourage families’ involvement in their children’s learning and provide valuable updates on progress
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that respects each child’s abilities and backgrounds
