About the Project
We are building an AI-powered operations system for a marketing agency that orchestrates multiple data sources and platforms through automation and AI.
The system integrates across multiple data sources covering SEO performance and keyword intelligence, local search and citations, web analytics and traffic, and social media activity. Tools include established platforms such as SEMrush and BrightLocal, alongside Google's marketing data APIs and AI-powered content services. This data will be unified, analyzed, and used to generate operational actions automatically.
Objective
The objective is to build a system that replaces the manual operator responsible for reviewing performance data, identifying meaningful changes, and determining what actions should be taken next.
All outputs must follow the framework:
Insight → Action → Measurable Impact
Generic outputs such as "improve performance" or "increase engagement" are not acceptable. All outputs must be specific, actionable, and tied to a clear outcome.
Scope
The system will:
Pull data from multiple external platforms via API
Normalize and structure that data
Apply rule-based change detection
Use AI to analyze performance and generate actions
Output structured, actionable recommendations
Support multiple clients and locations
We are intentionally not prescribing a rigid build structure. We are looking for a developer who can help define the most effective architecture and implementation approach.
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a workflow architect, not a basic automation builder. The right candidate will understand how to design systems, not just connect tools.
This includes experience with multi-source API orchestration, AI-driven decision workflows, and scalable, modular workflow design.
Required Experience
Strong experience with n8n in production environments
Experience with API integrations (REST, webhooks, authentication flows)
Experience integrating AI into workflows (Claude, OpenAI, or similar)
Experience working with structured data (spreadsheets or databases)
Experience building multi-step, branching workflows
Experience implementing error handling, retries, and logging
Experience integrating with SEO and local search platforms (SEMrush, BrightLocal, Ahrefs, Moz, Whitespark, or similar) is a strong plus
Engagement Approach
We are looking for a developer who can evaluate the system requirements, propose an architecture, recommend how the build should be structured, and provide a realistic estimate of timeline and cost.
This is expected to evolve into a longer-term engagement. Detailed technical specifications and tool stack will be shared with shortlisted candidates. We are looking to begin within the next 1 to 2 weeks.
