- Schedule/Hours:
- Flexible 6-week schedule cycle
- Weekend rotation: every other
- No on-call shifts
- 75% holiday coverage required
- Up to 6 days approved time off (excluding holidays)
- Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Minimum 18 months’ Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience; Ortho experience required for 7N/S Ortho team
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation, stroke care, and medication drip management
- Familiarity with Epic, Alaris IV pumps, and Omnicell medication dispensing
- Willingness to float within the defined region to meet patient needs
- Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional care to general med/tele and post-surgical/orthopedic patients
- Perform patient assessments, monitor cardiac rhythms, and manage stroke and surgical interventions
- Start peripheral IVs, manage chest tubes, drains, NGT, and post-op ortho precautions
- Collaborate with a dedicated interdisciplinary support team
- Adapt to varying unit settings and float between facilities as required
