We're seeking an experienced Lead Data Operations Analyst to lead our data operations efforts, drive innovation in our data lake environment, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results. As a key member of our Client Information Items Group, you'll be responsible for leading the development of new activities cycles and stage enhancements, identifying and resolving production issues, and championing continuous improvement.

  • *Key Responsibilities**
  • Lead data operations exercises for a group of data analysis products used to support internal bank operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues affecting our client information analysis stage
  • Analyze complex technical tasks challenges within a large data climate, requiring in-depth assessment and problem-solving skills
  • Lead research and create reports related to ongoing production changes and present findings to internal stakeholders
  • Lead the development of new activities cycles and stage enhancements to improve data quality and reduce production issues
  • Serve as the primary contact with the internal group, ensuring communication and reporting of delivery from the offshore group
  • Champion continuous improvement, including designing new processes and identifying new opportunities
  • Contribute to the establishment of performance metrics for the group and ensure tasks achieve or exceed performance targets
  • Direct the daily Risk and Control stream of tasks, focusing on strategies, techniques, and work standards to ensure a successful outcome; redesigning and driving consistent process improvement
  • Lead teams to meet time constraints and drive new initiatives
  • Review, approve, and implement recommended changes to plans
  • Collaborate and communicate with team members to resolve issues and achieve innovation mandates
  • Serve as a mentor to peers
  • *Essential Qualifications**
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., computer science, information technology, data analytics)
  • 3+ years of experience in data operations, or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Strong understanding of large data lake environments and data analysis tools (e.g., Hadoop, Hive, Pig)
  • Experience with data integration, data warehousing, and data visualization tools (e.g., ETL, data mart, data visualization software)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical tasks challenges
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • *Preferred Qualifications**
  • 3+ years of experience supporting large data environments
  • 3+ years of experience delivering ETL, data warehouse, and data analysis capabilities on large data engineering platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)

  • Experience with data security and compliance tools (e.g., data encryption, access control)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
