Remote Prop Trader – Cincinnati, OH
Maverick Trading is hiring a fully remote Equity & Options Trader open to applicants in Cincinnati, OH. We are a 25+ year proprietary trading firm that allocates firm capital to disciplined traders and scales buying power based on performance and risk management.
Trading from the Midwest: Trade US market hours from your local time zone — the NYSE opens at 9:30am local. Chicago's CME complex makes the Midwest one of the most important trading regions in the world. Operating on Central Time means the NYSE opens at 8:30am local — an early but workable schedule that pairs well with the region's strong work ethic.
This is not a challenge account. Not a demo evaluation. We provide structured capital allocation for traders who want a professional path to scaling capital.
- What you will do:
- Trade equities and options within defined risk parameters
- Follow a structured, rules-based risk management approach
- Build consistency and scale capital based on performance
Why options: Options allow traders to define risk, hedge exposures, and structure trades beyond simple directional stock positions. Maverick is one of the few proprietary trading firms that actively trades options as a core part of its trading approach.

- Trading experience preferred (equities and/or options), not required
- Strong risk discipline and consistency mindset
- Independent decision-making and personal accountability
- Willingness to complete the Maverick Qualification Program before trading firm capital
