PhD Biologist (AI Consulting)
We are looking to expand our team of expert consultants with
30 PhD Biologists
for part-time, fully-remote work supporting frontier AI research. Projects start at
$70–90 USD per hour
, with higher rates for experts with extensive publication records.
This role includes stress-testing leading AI models on research-level biology problems, creating and verifying complex questions and explanations in your area of expertise, and assessing whether AI-generated reasoning meets the standards of a trained biologist.

Who We're Looking For
- You hold a PhD in Biology, Biological Sciences, or a closely related field and are actively engaged in research.Ideal backgrounds include
- Faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and research scientists at universities or research institutions
- Researchers at government agencies, biotech companies, or life sciences startups
- Independent or affiliated researchers with an active publication record
- Minimum Qualifications
- Fluent English reading and writing skills
- PhD in Biology, Biological Sciences, or a closely related field
- Actively involved in research with publications in peer-reviewed journals within the last 2 years
