Experienced Senior Accountant – Remote Bookkeeping Position at careerzynith

• *Job Responsibilities:**

As a Senior Accountant at careerzynith, you will be responsible for:

• Planning and preparing journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for specific areas of the general ledger
• Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for management and GAAP combined financial statements
• Collaborating with FP&A, functional partners, and external stakeholders on significant accounting matters
• Providing guidance and support to junior accountants and other team members
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Conducting special investigations and projects to drive cycle improvement initiatives
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

• *Requirements:**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting firm or a similar industry
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB principles, and SOX/internal controls
• Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, and GSuite is a plus
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Self-motivated and independent, with a "make it happen" attitude
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• *Preferred Qualifications:**

• CPA certification or equivalent
• Experience with financial planning and analysis, including budgeting and forecasting
• Strong Excel skills, with the ability to create complex financial models and reports
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements
