- *Job Summary**
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative – Medical Records Support, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients, patients, and requestors, ensuring that their requests are handled efficiently and effectively. You'll work closely with our Customer Service Manager to resolve issues, meet daily goals, and maintain accurate records in our Med-Release system. - *Key Responsibilities**
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, patients, and requestors via phone calls, ensuring that their needs are met with precision and care.
- Meet daily goals of 85 calls per day, averaging 11 calls per hour, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist clients, patients, and requestors with the status of requests for medical records, providing accurate and concise information.
- Ensure notes are accurate and detailed, with all actions requiring a note in Med-Release.
- Build strong value-based relationships with customers, demonstrating a passion for customer interaction and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Resend, cancel, or reprocess orders as necessary, ensuring that requests are handled efficiently and effectively.
- Obtain missing information for non-compliant requests from patients and requestors, working closely with other departments to ensure requests are sent promptly.
- Perform data entry and other duties as assigned, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Fax and email records securely to requestors, ensuring that sensitive information is handled with care and confidentiality.
- *Qualifications**
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, patients, and requestors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize duties, and manage time effectively, meeting daily goals and deadlines.
- Proficient computer skills with software applications such as Microsoft Office.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- *Preferred Skills/Not Required**
- Previous medical records experience, with knowledge of HIPAA preferred but not required.
- 1+ year of customer service/call center experience, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
